What changed at Craftybase
In 2026 Craftybase rebranded to Stocksmith ("same team, same software"). As of July 2026 its published entry plan, Studio, runs $41/mo billed annually ($49 month-to-month), with higher tiers at $83–$291/mo. Hourly imports and automatic stock sync sit on the $166+/mo tiers. The old ~$20/mo plan survives only as a legacy mention.
For a shop grossing a few hundred dollars a month, $500–600 a year of bookkeeping software is a real line item — r/EtsySellers has a steady stream of threads asking for a cheaper way out. Nothing wrong with the software; a lot wrong with the fit.
The deeper issue for 3D print sellers: it's generic
Stocksmith models a general handmade business: components, recipes, manufactures. Workable for soap or jewelry — but a 3D print shop's material world is filament: spools with brands, materials, colors, grams per print, and the very specific question "how many sealed spools are on the shelf, and how many weeks will they last at my sales pace?" You can fake that with generic components and manual adjustments. You shouldn't have to.
